30 Day Challenge
to Relocate, Recalibrate, and Reclaim Agency
Over the last eight years I stepped away from systems that were not compatible with my nervous system and dedicated myself to sobriety, healing and understanding my neurodivergence.
Now I am entering the next stage of the journey.
The goal of this 30-day challenge is to:
• relocate into an environment that supports my nervous system
• recalibrate my routines and daily structure
• rebuild stability so I can step fully into my purpose-aligned work
Each day I will document what I am learning about rebuilding life as a neurodivergent person.
Why I’m Doing This
Many neurodivergent people reach a point of burnout where the systems they were raised in no longer work for their nervous system.
Healing often requires stepping away from those systems long enough to reset patterns, rediscover personal identity & needs and align with our purpose.
The challenge I am documenting is the next phase of that process:
Returning to society with agency, structure, and nervous system awareness.
Goals Over 30 Days
During this challenge I am working toward three main outcomes.
1. Relocation
Find and move into an environment that supports nervous system stability.
This includes:
• low sensory overload
• predictable routines
• access to movement and regulation practices
2. Recalibration
Develop daily routines that support a neurodivergent nervous system.
Areas of focus include:
• sleep
• nutrition
• caffeine and stimulant awareness
• movement and strength training
• nervous system regulation
3. Rebuilding Structure
Create the daily systems required to rebuild work and creative output.
This includes:
• consistent content creation
• documentation of the journey
• building the foundations of my business
What I Am Tracking Each Day
To support this process I am tracking the following lifestyle variables.
Sleep
• hours of sleep
• sleep quality
Mood and Energy
• mood level
• energy level
• social energy
Nutrition
• processed sugar consumption
• clean eating
• water intake (3 liters)
Movement
• strength training
• general movement
Body Regulation
• sauna
• sauna circuit
• bath
Digital Habits
• scrolling before bed
• no screens after 6 PM
Creative Work
• daily video recorded
• insights from the day
• client research
• client outreach
How I Will Document the Journey
This project is documented across several platforms.
YouTube
Daily short-form videos documenting insights from the journey.
Typical video length: 90 seconds to 3 minutes.
Each video follows a simple structure:
Day number → what happened → what I learned.
Instagram Stories
Quick updates and behind-the-scenes moments throughout the day.
This is the easiest way for me to capture life in real time.
Spotify
Voice note recordings where I process insights and experiences in depth.
These recordings are especially helpful for neurodivergent people who enjoy long-form reflection.
The Blog (Source of Truth)
Every day I document the full record of the project here, including:
• the daily video
• photos
• voice notes
• written reflections
• Kindle Scribe notes
This blog acts as the permanent archive of the project.
My Daily Routine
To stay consistent, I follow a simple structure.
Morning
Fill out lifestyle tracker:
• sleep
• mood
• energy
• daily intentions
Midday
Record the daily video when a clear insight emerges.
The video focuses on one realization from the day.
Evening
Update the tracker and record/upload any reflections from the day.
Content Themes for the Series
Topics during the challenge may include:
• nervous system regulation
• neurodivergent burnout
• rebuilding life after trauma
• choosing supportive environments
• designing routines that support capacity
• reclaiming personal agency
The Commitment
For 30 days I will:
• record and publish one video per day
• document the journey honestly
• prioritize nervous system stability
• build the foundations for the next stage of life
This is not about perfection. It is about showing what rebuilding looks like in real time.
The Larger Vision
This challenge is the first phase of my ongoing Making JGB project.
Making JGB is a living documentation of how a neurodivergent person rebuilds life, work, and leadership after trauma and burnout.
The goal is to demonstrate how it is possible to:
• reclaim agency
• design life around your nervous system
• make a purpose-aligned living
This challenge will be the first in a series of 30-day challenges.
The ultimate goal at the time of writing is to get my finances out of the red zone and save enough money to move to Australia.
My dream is to use my dual-citizenship, have two home bases / communities and chase summer by splitting my time between Australia and Canada.
